2. Definitions
Client: The person or entity engaging in the services of the firm.
Firm: Baker Jorgensen Lawyers Pty Ltd.
Disclosure Statement: The seller disclosure statement prepared in accordance with the Property Law Act 2023 (Qld).
3. Services
Our services include: Obtaining and reviewing searches and preparation of Form 2 Seller Disclosure Statement for residential, commercial, and strata properties in Queensland.
It is not part of our retainer to ensure your selling agent complies with the Property Law Act, the Contract or other legislation when giving Seller Disclosure Statement.
Conveyancing is a separate service. Please contact our office should you wish to engage our firm for contract review and conveyancing services.
4. Pricing
Residential homes: $880 (incl. GST)
Unit / Duplex (Residential or Commercial): $1,100 (incl. GST)
5. Limitation of Liability
The Seller Disclosure Statement will be prepared based on the information provided and searches available to date.
We are not liable for losses arising from client-provided errors, search delays, or if any information changes following the date we provide you with the Form 2.
6. Intellectual Property
All documents and content on this website are the property of Baker Jorgensen Lawyers.
7. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
